2.The 6th International Symposium on Mining with Backfill held in Brisbane, Australia in April,1988. Based on the information of Symposium Proceedings and the visiting to Austratian mines after the Symposium, and combined with the research achievements in the Jinchuan Nonferrous Metals Corporation, the application and the research status of paste fill technology around the world is summed up in this paper, and some keytechniques such as paste preparation, cement addition and pipe choke, which are needed to further study, arepointed out.
1998年4月在澳大利亚布里斯班召开的第六届国际充填采矿大会，作者依据会议学术交流和矿山考察并结合金川膏体充填试验研究的情况，指出了需要进一步研究解决的诸如充填料制备、水泥添加方式以及堵管问题等几项关键技术。
3.In 1972, the Academy held the “Symposium on Scientific Survey in the Mt.Qomolangma Area,” the first ever, in Lanzhou. In the wake of this symposium, all types of comprehensive or specialized academic conferences in respect of the natural eco-environment of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau were held one after the other, accompanied by a large number of academic achievements. The Qinghai-Tibet Plateau Comprehensive Scientific Survey Series alone contains 31 titles in 42 volumes, amounting to a grand total of some 17 million characters.

9.When our paper—An Initial Inguiry into Lingnistic and Stylistic Difference Between the Former 80 Chapters and the Latter 40 Chapters of DRC——(carried on Journal of Shenzhen University, Issue 1, 1986) was read at the Harbin International DRC Symposium, many Chinese and foreign scholars present at the Symposium gave their complimentary remarks and encouraged the authors to conduct further exploration in this direction.

10.The Fourth General Assembly of Asian Seismological Commission (ASC) and Symposium on Seismology, Earthquake Hazard Assessment and Risk Management were held in Kathmandu, Nepal on November 24-26, 2002.
