1.Abstract: The development of stealthy materials in the past several d ecades from the Second World War up to now is comp endiously reviewed in this paper.Recent study of new stealthy materials, suc h as ceramic materials and conducting polymer composites etc, is summarized from three areas of thermal resistance，smart and plasma steal thy materials , and developing trend of the stealthy mat erials is also predicted in this paper.
