2.The assessment of experimental results from subjective visual effect and objective statistical analysis indicates that the proposed scheme has better performance in preserving the spectral characteristics of the multispectral images,while improving the spatial resolution,than the conventional image fusion methods such as the methods based on HIS(hue-intensity-saturation) transform,PCA,and wavelet transform(WT).

3.Methods Twenty-nine comatose patients admitted to our hospital after severe brain trauma were given continuously monitoring of regional cerebral oxygen saturation (rScO2) by near-infrared spectroscopy (NIRS). Arterial oxygen saturation (SaO2), pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2), mean arterial blood pressure (MAP), intracranial pressure (ICP) and cerebral perfusion pressure (CPP) were monitored at the same time.

6.Pulse oxygen saturation (SpO2 ) monitoring was a noninvasive measurement method. There was a close correlation between SpO2 and arterial oxygen saturation. SpO2 and pulse oxygen saturation/fractional concenttation of O2 inspired gas (SpO2/FiO2) ratio in patients with ARDS were monitored consecutively by Siemens 900C ventilator,pulse oximeter and HP M1165A monitor in ICU during ventilation.
