2.Objective To assess the prognostic accuracy for operative mortality of 4 different risk stratification models in Chinese patients underwent (coronary artery bypass graft) CABG. Methods Between 2002 and 2003,all patients undergoing CABG in our institution were prospectively scored for operative mortality using Parsonnet,EuroSCORE,Cleveland and OPR scoring systems and operative mortality was registered.

6.Value of P for hosmer-lemeshow of CADILLAC risk score in mortality of AMI patients was superior to that of TIMI risk score. The mortality predicted with CADILLAC risk score was more closely to actual mortality than that of TIMI risk score.

8.Results The neonatal mortality rate (NMR), infant mortality rate (IMR) and under 5 years old mortality rate (U?5MR) in China dropped to 22.8, 32.2, 39.7 per 1 000 live births in 2000, respectively (they were 24.0, 36.0, 45.0 respectively in 1996), which declined 5.0%, 10.6%, 11.8% from 1996 to 2000, respectively.

Over the past 26 years, the crude death rate, infant mortality, neonatal mortality, the specific mortality and the proportion of death under the age of 5 have dropped considerably, and the proportion of death above the age 50 and average expectation of life have risen significantly.

10.Incidence of thoracic complication and their mortality in the 3 groups were observed.
