1.The literature on some aspects of sexual differentiation including the floral initiation and formation，sex differentiation，gametophyte and gametogenesis，in longan (Dimocarpus longan Lour.)，litchi (Litchi chinensis Sonn.) and rambutan （Nephelium lappaceum L.） are reviewed．Based on the comparasion of the development of research among longan，litchi and rambutan，some views are put forward.
