10.In this article we report 52 cases of sporadic encephalitis patients examinating with Elec troencephalogram (EEG) and Brain Electrical Activity Mapping (BEAM), the results show that the abnormality rate of EEG in these patients is 94. 2% (49/52) and of BEAM is 100%, therefore,BEAM is more sensitive in diagnosis of sporadic encephalitis, but combine these two examinations may be more useful for clinical diagnosis.
