2.Methods We stimulate HT29 human colon cancer cell with different concentration of hydrogen peroxide or the same concentration of hydrogen peroxide in different time, through which mimicking the oxygen stress environment in the colon lumen, then confirm the transcription activity of VEGF gene with Run-on assay, Northern Blot, ELISA assay, and further, analyze the correlation between the transcription activity of VEGF gene with the strength of stimuli or the time course.
