2.However, the ability of aquatic products processing, packing and logistics is relatively low which shows as follows: Firstly, the level of processing performs quite low as the processing projects mainly concentrated in fillet production, while the fillet processing value of Liaoning and Shandong provinces could reach 2.5 billion dollars as the No.1 world fillet processing center, other areas are poor at investments and further processing abilities; Secondly, aquatic product processing enterprises distribute unbalance which mainly centered in the littoral provinces and cities while the processing ability of enterprises from inner mainland only shares 6% of the whole nation; Thirdly, the packing equipments and technology run of date which results in more than 7 billion dollars loss and significant aquatic product export processing restriction; Fourthly, the logistics fall behind and the cold chain technology has specifically became the bottleneck in aquatic products circulation.
相对于产量的提高，水产品加工、包装和物流的能力却相对较低，体现在：一是加工能级低，加工项目集中于初级冻品加工、鱼片生产等初级项目，目前，辽宁、山东两省鱼片加工产值达到25亿美元左右，成为世界最大的鱼片加工基地，但其他综合开发和精深加工能力则较为薄弱；二是水产品加工企业分布不平衡，主要集中于沿海省市，内陆地区的加工能力仅占全国加工能力的6%左右；三是包装设备老化，技术落后，每年因包装不善而导致的损失高达近70亿美元，严重制约了水产品的加工出口；四是物流方式落后，尤其冷链技术已成为水产品流通的瓶颈。
